I love helping both Buyers and Sellers. With over a decade of Real Estate experience in North Texas, I will use my knowledge and expertise to guide you to the best real estate decisions for your individual situation.
When working with Sellers that are local, as well as those out of the area, I work tirelessly from the start of the listing process to the closing day so it is as smooth as possible. At every point in the transaction, I strive to be a focused listener and able advisor. I guide my Sellers through the home preparation and listing process which has allowed me to consistently beat the market on results for my clients.
It is crucial to have a REALTOR® who understands the region and will work hard on your behalf when buying a home. With seasoned Buyers, I will help my clients navigate the transition from their current home to purchasing a new home following through with strong communications. With first-time home buyers in the area, I ensure my clients understand the process step-by-step to set them up for success in our local home market.
Although I am passionate about my work, I balance my real estate work with many interests including exercise, yoga, good food, and lots of outdoor interests including horses and gardening. I have been an ongoing volunteer at ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship and fostered dogs for the North Texas SPCA for many years. I graduated from Ohio State University in Industrial Engineering and have Midwest roots. I am a longtime supporter of Compassion, Lifesong for Orphans and my family attends Cottonwood Creek Church. We love living in North Texas and absolutely consider this home.

We have had the pleasure of working with Susan on 6 real estate transactions! The first was the sale of our home in Coppell and purchase of our townhome in Fairview 11 years ago. When a home that we were interested in came on the market approximately a year ago, we contacted her. Unfortunately the seller backed out at the last minute and the sale did not go through. Susan was professional throughout the whole process. When another home that we were interested in was available, she was all over it. The purchase was successful! Then she sold our townhome as well as my deceased parent’s townhome.We had a lot going on and Susan never ran out of energy! She stayed in constant communication with us. She offered good, solid advice.We hope to be done with real estate transactions for now but if they come up, she will be the first person we call. We highly recommend Susan Godfroid!

This was the second time working with Susan. She guided me on my first home purchase in 2016, and then most recently helped me sell my home 7-1/2 years later. She was fantastic to work with! She made everything as easy as possible. She had great communication skills and was prompt sharing feedback she received from realtors showing my home.
